Pet care experience
I owned my own dog for over 12 years (who I trained and walked), have dog sat family members and colleagues dogs and also for guests that come into the (very dog friendly!) pub I work in. Anyone that’s knows me even slightly, including staff and guests at my work, will tell you how much I love dogs. Since losing mine a couple of years ago, I have missed so much all of the joys that come with looking after dogs (or any animal!), cuddles and talking to them, anticipating their waggy tail when I get the lead out, being greeted with so much love when arriving home! If I were in a position to have a dog of my own at the moment I would probably have a couple ;)

Megan took Cassie at short notice, was really positive and flexibe. Kept us updated on how she was doing with photos and videos, gave her a good walk a treat, 10/10 :D
I highly recommend Megan as a dog carer. With Megan, your dog will not only be well kept but also showered with affection and love.

I have a walled garden that we share with next door (students going home for the summer). No fence for the passage leading outside but previously I have blocked this with a fence and sat outside with the dogs

I have no preference over breeds, I am an all round dog lover. If there’s anything you feel I should know about your pup please do, including if they’re senior, have any allergies, don’t get on well with other animals / people, are reactive etc. It won’t put me off, will just give me chance to prepare :)
A typical day
I love the outdoors but also love getting comfy on the sofa with a film so wether your dog is up for nice long, playful walks or just loves to chill, we could be a perfect match! I never tired of playing with my dog even as he became a senior dog, we just adapted our games so he didn’t have to run/ jump as much :) My boyfriend (also a long time dog owner / lover) also drives so we can get out to the Peaks for some adventures if suitable :)

I’m currently a student that finishes university completely in 1 week so am looking to do this preferably full time alongside my part time pub job :) Animals are an absolute passion of mine, especially doggies.
