Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of several dogs growing up and worked at a dog hotel for several years where I gained more experience caring for a variety of breeds :) I now have a 4 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix named Peanut who I adopted from the Richardson Humane Society about a year ago. Having my own dog has been so rewarding and has made me appreciate what a tremendous responsibility and gift it is to own a dog. I have spent so much time educating myself on dog behavior and training Peanut, and it has been so rewarding seeing him come out of his shell and become more fearless by the day. I would love to care for your dog like they are my own! Whether they’re active and love to play and run or just want to lounge on the couch I will go above and beyond to make sure all of their needs are met! :)

It was our first time using Rover and I'm glad Megan was there for us! She went above and beyond with her time spent during her drop-in's with our dog and we felt complete trust in her, and we really apricated the picture check-ins. She's the best!
Megan's first job was at a highly rated pet daycare and boarding in Southlake! She diligently worked there for 2 years and proved to be invaluable at connecting with the dogs and giving them special care and loving. She has since rescued a Chiweenie who had heart worm and has done an incredible job on his recovery. She has taken good care of him with daily walks and exercise and understands that positive interaction is key to earning a dog's trust. She is currently working on her PhD and is extremely responsible with a strong instinct and good connection with our four-legged friends!

A typical day
I love going for long walks at Trinity Park and would love to take your dog there or to dog parks if that is something they enjoy ? I’ll play with your dog as much as they want so they’ll be tired out and extra relaxed when you get home!

I am a graduate student at UNT Health Science Center so I an often at school on weekdays but my schedule is variable and is very flexible. Weekends are always free :)
