Pet care experience
As a child, we always had a family dog, sometimes 2 or 3 at once. I always enjoyed caring for our family dogs, playing with them, teaching them new tricks and good manners. When I was a young adult and moved away from home, my best boy Sid (Siberian Husky) and I had 11 wonderful years together. He was my greatest companion who enjoyed long walks, car rides, daily trips to the dog park and husky group activities. I am a member of the DVSHA and try to volunteer whenever I can. We now have an Australian Shepard who is a ball of energy, VERY well mannered, loves kids and giving kisses! Often times, her "brother" (English Lab) stays over for playdates and sleepovers while my BIL is traveling. I would love to meet your dog and help care for them.

Megan is the biggest dog-lover that I know. She genuinely cares for any dogs that she comes into contact with. She raised a very well-mannered Husky of her own that I got to know very well, but unfortunately left her too early. Megan frequently dog-sits for friends and family, and those dogs are always walked and well cared for. Every dog that knows Megan is always extremely happy and excited to see her and new dogs warm up to her quickly. I would gladly recommend her to walk anyone's dog. She is a great addition to the Rover family!
Megan is the most knowledgeable, capable, and confident dog handler that I have ever met. She is attentive, caring, and very aware and mindful of any of my dogs needs. I trust her explicitly, with my two big labs, and know that she cares for them as her own. There is simply no one else that I would feel more comfortable or confident to have look after my dogs. There is one person above all others that I trust to watch my furry family members and that is Megan! She cares for her own pets as if they are royalty and she extends that same love and affection to every dog she meets. Megan is timely, responsive, active and trustworthy! I know when my two labs are with her, they are safe and will get tons of activity and care. Megan sends updates and pictures so I can enjoy seeing what my pups are up to! Lastly, Megan is so knowledgeable, as well as intuitive with different dogs and breeds, she has a great sense for their varying personalities and needs. Your loved ones are in great hands with megan!
Megan will take care of your dog as if they were her own!! I've known her for over 10 years and we first met at the dog park. We both had Siberian Huskies that became best friends. She watched and took care of my Bearboy often along with hers and loved him just as much. She is a dedicated dog owner and dog lover and will absolutely take great care of your dog too.

If there is anything I need to know about your pets ahead of time, we can go over that in our meet and greet. I can feed your pet, sneak a pill or two in a treat or crate them. Whatever is needed can be discussed on our first meeting.
A typical day
On a typical day, I would greet your pet with belly rubs and scratches. Leash them up and let ourselves out for a nice long walk or some play time in the yard if you’d prefer. We would then head back in, for fresh water, a snack and some pets before saying goodbye.

I am available for weekday mid-day or evening dog walks. I am hoping to only work with a small amount of clients so I can care/help out daily or whatever is needed and develop a personal relationship with the pet and family.
