Pet care experience
We offer a calm, pet-free household, ideal for animals who may not be comfortable sharing their space with other pets. My husband and I are mature, responsible adults with a combined lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats, as well as rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, and other niche animals. We are joined by our nine-year-old son who is very gentle and respectful of animals and their boundaries. He would love to play with a canine or feline house guest!

Megan was a wonderful caretaker for our 2yr old dog, Scout. She came over with her 9 year old son several times each day we needed her. They played with our pup and made sure he had some treats and lots of snuggles! Scout was just as happy, if not happier, each time we came home. Megan was absolutely lovely to work with. If we still lived close by, we would use her to help out with Scout in a heartbeat!
Megan and Reeve are the dream team! They were so attentive to our pup, Luna. Reeve is such a sweet kid and has a big heart for dogs, plus he is very responsible- beyond his years. I’d trust Luna in their care for short walks or long weekends. Highly recommended!
Megan is THE person you want when you’re looking for a loving home for your pet. She is patient, kind, LOVES animals and keeps a very tidy home. Rest assured, your pet is in good hands when with her. In fact, they might not want to leave!

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behavioral considerations. As we do have a nine-year-old, it will be required that any pet in our home is child-friendly and not aggressive. Sweet-tempered bully breeds are welcome!
A typical day
Your pet will be an honored guest in our home! Our son will tire them out with games like fetch, tag, chase, and hide-and-seek. We live in a small hamlet that is perfect for long walks, meeting other dogs, and sniffing at sheep and cows. After a long day of play, we can't wait to snuggle up with your pet and give them all the cuddles they can handle!

Availability
We are home all day, and I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention it needs. If you are comfortable with your pet joining us on outings, we're also happy to take them out and about with us.
