Hi. My name is Megan (and Bum is the handsome one-eyed gentleman in my profile pic). He was my baby that I had to unfortunately put down after 13 years. He was my world, and I had been through so much with him: 12 surgeries, medical expenses over 20k, ongoing daily medications, and caring for a disabled dog the last 5 years of his life. I'm a true believer in the saying that "Until one has loved an animal, a part of their soul is unawakened." I'm not quite ready to get another pet but by joining Rover, I felt this would give me the opportunity to spend time doing what I loved most, caring for and loving animals. I am available on weekdays and weekends and promise you that I will give your pet all of my love, the same way I did Bum. Thank you for the opportunity, and I look forward to making your life a little easier. :)

Megan’s awesome! She has cared for my dog since he was just a little puppy. She is great at communicating when she’s arriving and how my boy did on some of his very first walks! Love the picture updates- highly recommended and trustworthy.
Honest. Caring. Loving. Megan is all of these and more... When her late-father first became ill in the mid-2000's, she lovingly took in his 5-year-old Pekingese. Potential short-term care turned into long-term care, for which she was very happy to provide. In just the first year under her care, I witnessed as this pup learned all sorts of new positive behaviors! Megan fully debunked the famous saying: "You can't teach an old dog new tricks!" Ultimately, she gave this pup the most wonderful life for the next 10 years! Happiest dog in the world! The little pup recently passed due to old age, and I know she misses him dearly. I believe sitting for Rover.com is the perfect fit for her.. So that she can continue to share her love for pets. So if you're looking for someone who will take immaculate care of your pet, Megan is the one! I wholeheartedly recommend her and 100% trust my two dogs (a basset and a beagle) with her!
My sister Megan was a loving puppy mother for the past 14 years to an awesome Pekingese named Bum. She treated him like her actual child caring for him and his medical complications over the years. He went everywhere with her and she was the best mother a dog could ever ask for :)
Megan cares for my dogs as if they’re her own! They get excited to see here everyone time. I have 2 large dogs and she handles them so much love and attention. I never worry about my pups when they’re with her. Thank you, Megan for being part of our family. We wuff you!
