Pet care experience
I've grown up around animals and absolutely adore them! My family has had dogs since I was born and when I was 10, I adopted two guinea pigs to take care of on my own. I have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, and even horses!

Megan is an amazing pet sitter! I can tell immediately how much my doggie and my finicky kitty love her by the way they respond to her when they see her. Megan is loving, gentle and attentive, asking all the right questions regarding the care needed and reliably following all requests. I trust her completely, and have full confidence that she takes care of my pets at least was well as I do myself. I use Megan’s help every time I travel, knowing my doggie and kitty are in the best hands!

I’m not very familiar with special needs animals, but I’ve taken care of senior pets before. I do prefer dogs under 50-60 pounds but I’m willing to care for a larger dog if they are gentle and respond well to new people.
A typical day
Every animal needs different activities! For dogs, I’ll take them on walks, play fetch, and generally play with their favorite toys! For cats I’ll do the same. I’m not familiar with doing activities with horses, only feeding them.

Availability
I currently work full time at a non-profit in Boston serving first generation college students. I’m on campus 2-3 times per week but I work remotely Mondays and Fridays, so house sitting on weekends and long weekends are my speciality! There are points of the year when I’m fully remote (December-January, May-August), so I can accommodate those types of schedules as well.
