Hello! My name is Megan and my husband's name is Cory. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for animals of all kinds and love taking care of them. I was a volunteer at the Cedar Bend Humane Society in Waterloo, Iowa from 2013 - 2020. I have had experience in administering medication both as a shot and as oral medication. I have watched furry, scaley, and feathery friends since I was 12 years old.

We live on an acreage outside of Oakland so plenty of room for adventures and smells! We kennel during the day while we are away so no one decides to make any messes and get into trouble while unsupervised.

We've watched many different sizes and breeds of dogs and have loved them all! Drake does well with anyone and everyone. Pirate is our cat who as long as he get his space is perfectly content with any newcomer. Let me know routines and favorites so we can provide the best stay possible for your dog and welcome them into our family during their stay.
A typical day
I love to physically and mentally stimulate dogs. We always do walks to get the muscles working and smell everything. We also play games inside of the house to mentally stimulate pets as well.

Availability
I work full time, but am off early on Tuesdays. Cory is always home by 4 to get potty breaks during the day. We can provide potty breaks in the am, after work, and there after. During the summer Cory, being a teacher, is home all day!
