Pet care experience
Hi! If you made it here, nice to meet you! Since a child, I've been surrounded by animals, dogs, cats, birds, etc. As a child, I grew up with our family dog, a Chiweenie. I was 9 years old when she was brought home. She was around 8 weeks old at the time. As she got older, she needed extra care and attention. She was very allergic to many things and had a sensitive stomach. I was keen on picking up when something was not right with her. She lived to be an amazing 14 years old! Since her passing, I decided to get dogs of my own. I now have a Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd. They have gone through obedience training since they were 8 weeks old. I continue to train them daily. Our favorite thing to do is go on trails, play with there Kongs and run in our yard. I'm experienced in high-energy breeds and have an understanding on what they require.

I hired Megan to watch our two very energetic labs. She does so well with them and has taught them to not pull on the leash while walking, she taught them to "sit" and "down". I wouldn't have any one else watch my two fur babies. She's just wonderful all around.

Trust is a big aspect in finding the right pet sitter for your pet. I understand that completely which is why I decided to become a pet sitter on Rover. I have experience with small dogs, senior dogs, high-energy dogs and everything in between. Rest assured, your pet will never be left alone. I also have 2 dogs of my own if your dog is dog friendly. If your dog is not dog friendly, I can keep them separate. We have a large yard with a palisade right now for them to play on and more fun obstacles to come. I have a partially fenced yard, only two sides are fenced. If you think they may run off, we also have a long tie-out for them too!

A typical day
I love going on walks! There are quite a few places to take your pet. If you are comfortable, we can go on walking trails in the Palos area or there is a walking path right across the street from my home. Aside from that, we have a large yard and lots of toys to play with from balls to tugs and Kongs!

I currently am a stay at home mom. I watch my dogs daily so I have a lot of flexibility with your own schedule, from drop-ins to boarding, I can be there.
