Hi, my name is Megan. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, so I am extremely excited to get the opportunity to meet and care for other pups in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. I am a full-time teacher, which makes my availability for stays great for holiday and summer vacations, evening walks, or weekend playdates! I reside in Philadelphia, so I am able to travel by train, bus or Uber very easily. In addition to that, I do have a car to ensure my ability to get to any appointment promptly. I have a variety of past pet-care experience. I grew up in a family that was never without a four-legged friend. My family has seen three wonderful German Shepards, all weighing in over 95 lbs (big dogs are NOT a problem!). I helped with grooming, walking, playing with, cleaning, and feeding of each of my dogs. In addition to being an owner, I have experience with long term dog-sitting while neighbors, family members, or acquaintances have vacationed, as well as drop-ins when owners are having a long day away from home. I am not professionally trained, but I do feel that I have a strong grasp on training methods. Something that would come in handy if I was to be paired up with a puppy in training! I am a firm believer that dogs are an extension of you and your family, so you can trust that I would care for your dogs as if they were my own!
