Pet care experience
I grew up with animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and guinea pigs! In addition to being used to feeding, playing, walking, etc. I also learned how to carefully and safely care for animals with various medical problems. I am practiced at giving both dogs and cats oral medication as well as caring for animals with aggressive tendencies. I often sit one cat who has a seizure disorder and needs oral medication twice a day. Previous sitters had called the owners to come back to town because the cat would not take the medication from them. For me, I followed the cat's lead and slowly built up trust between me and him. By the time I needed to dispense the meds, he was rubbing on me and took the pill immediately the first day I met him! With your animals, I will approach them with the same method - follow their body language and let them get to know me so they feel comfortable with me!

Megan recently dropped in to visit our two cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. The cats had both been sick and were not eating as well as usual. Megan went out of her way to monitor their eating and communicate with us about how they did. She also did a great job of leaving everything clean and tidy- even when the cats made more messes than usual. I would highly recommend her as a sitter.
Megan was an outstanding sitter for our cat, Coco. We will definitely keep her in mind for future sittings. We know Coco was in excellent hands!
I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional care Megan provided for my fur baby, Logan. It was evident that Megan went above and beyond to ensure not only his physical comfort but also showered him with love and attention. Regular updates, complete with adorable photos (more than just one photo for each visit), and heartfelt messages about Logan and Megan's time together (staying the full slotted 30 minutes!), kept me connected and reassured throughout my time away. I cannot thank Megan enough for taking care of my kitty Porkchop while I was away!!! She made me feel so much better about being away from him, and I will absolutely be reaching out to her in the future to take care of my Porkie again. :) She did an amazing job keeping me updated about how he was doing, and Porkchop is as happy as ever!!

I am also comfortable doing small tasks around the house (taking in mail, watering plants, etc.) - just ask!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors I need to know about, allergies, etc. I am experienced with all sorts of dogs, I just need to know before hand what to expect! If your dog likes a specific play style or has to avoid certain spots around the neighborhood, let me know that too!
A typical day
I love to stimulate animals both physically and mentally. We will take a nice, long walk, stopping to sniff the most interesting smells. We will play whatever style your dog prefers - tug-of-war, hide the treat, fetch, whatever! I'll also make sure we get in lots of time for pats and maybe some brushing too!

Availability
I work full time, but typically work remotely 2 days a week. During those remote days, my schedule is very flexible and I can take breaks to play or feed or take a walk. During the in-office days, I work from 8:30-4 but I can spend the night to make sure your animal can get the care they deserve.
