As a veterinarian, I am very particular about who I trust with my crew of fur-kids. And it’s a hazard of my job to wind up taking home the hard-luck cases no one else wants. As a result, I’ve assembled quite a motley crew of special needs critters. They’re wonderful but demanding - and finding someone willing, and capable, of managing them has made travel a rare treat. Until I found Megan. Megan began pet sitting for me as a high school student. Over the years, I’ve come to trust her with my beloved fur-kids without reservation. She manages my menagerie, their special diets, their medications, their handicaps, and their personality quirks with reliability, compassion, and a maturity beyond her years. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your animals are comfortably in their home, being maintained on their accustomed routine, and being given attention and affection is indescribable. Arriving home after travel, I commonly think to myself “They didn’t even miss me!” But why would they? They’ve had Megan doting over them! She’s experienced, trustworthy, and my dogs truly love her.
