Loving Pet Sitter, Works from Home!

Pet care experience

I've always loved being around animals - from growing up in a pet-filled household to working as a groom/barn manager before going off to university. I've only been available for longer housesits over the past few years, but I just moved to London from Colorado and would love to start regularly sitting again. I greatly appreciate the responsibility of letting someone new watch over your pets, and they're always treated as my own. Whether that means long walks, extra play-time, or joining along on adventures around town! I also have plenty of experience with large breeds and associated training (family owns a German Shepherd, have worked with Huskies, Boxers, etc.. at the local animal shelter) and thanks to my background with horses, I'm comfortable giving medications/basic first aid.

Megan was an amazing pet sitter and took wonderful care of the house and our 2 very old dogs. She sent us an update everyday. Our older dog required a lot of attention and work, and we really appreciated the care and compassion Megan gave to him. She even dug a path in the snow so he was able to access the outside and kept our steps and deck free of snow on a very "snowy" week. I have no reservations at all in recommending her as a fabulous petsitter.

Safety, trust & environment

I typically like to go on 2-3 walks a day to keep your dog active with plenty of play-time in between. With cats, I typically adjust to their preference since it often takes a few days to warm up to new people in the home.

Information Megan S. would like to know about your pet

While I find it best to meet in-person before an initial pet-sit, it's always great to get the below info at a minimum: - Typical behavior on walks around other dogs (and/or prey drive) - Feed schedule - Medications - Vet information if owner unavailable - Favorite activities!

A typical day

I just moved to London from a ski town in Colorado, so I definitely try and fit outdoor time in when I can. I live next to Regent's Park, which makes it a lot easier! I've also taken dogs to Greenwich Park and generally enjoy exploring if they're up for it.
