***AVAILABLE JULY AND AUGUST, I WORK IN AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL*** I have had animals since I was kid and eventually adopted a dog of my own who had behavioral triggers and social restrictions that helped me learn a lot about dog and human safety. After his passing, I decided to work at the SPCA to have an animals lovin’ and I enjoyed every second of it. Because of my experience, they allowed me to work with the dogs who have a history and require more attentive care; seeing those babes go home is something I will never forget. I have some free time on my hands due to my 10 month employment at a school and don’t have a dog of my own to walk on these beautiful days! I’d love it if you let me spend some time with yours :) !!!

I can’t say enough good things about Megan. She’s always been one of my most responsible and trustworthy friends and my dogs are always excited to see her. Not only is she always on top of things but is truly passionate about caring for animals and making sure they’re getting just as much love and attention that they’d get from their owners. Anyone would be lucky to have Megan take care of their pets.

I am used to the “closing up” of places (checking water bowls, collecting toys, locking the doors/gates) from my own personal experience and from working at the shelter. I like to make sure the animals are calm and happy so that the next time they see me, they’re closer to being as excited as I am!
Information Megan S. would like to know about your pet
Important information for me to know before meeting a dog is it’s habits. Ultimately, I’m a stranger to the dog so I’d prefer to have knowledge about the animals reactions, triggers, interests, and motivations before taking care of them! I would also like to be notified of a bite history so that I can take necessary precautions during leash attachment/detachment, feedings, and toy retrieval.
A typical day
i love bringing dogs to parks and new places to get some new smells and practice commands in different settings, it really stimulates their brain! Working their brain also tires them out, so I like doing things and going places where the pups return home tired and happy!

I take care of my cats at home and we’re early risers! I have a pretty clear schedule except for the months where I am working at my school!
