Lifelong pet owner! Have senior pug
Pet care experience
I'm currently working from home, so I'll take full-time care of your pooch! My beloved pug Princesa is a senior, I've had her since she was a puppy (and since my kids were little, they are teens/ young adults now). Princesa has dimming sight and hearing so I'm particularly patient with senior dogs! I had a cat in NYC for 17 years, and when I was a kid, my family had a complete menagerie: 3 dogs, 3 cats, parakeets, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, even a spider monkey (yes a monkey!) so I grew up loving animals and caring for all.
Reviews
Great stay for spy! Lots of park time and was clearly very happy!
Megan continues to be fabulous. Responsive and reliable. My pup looks so happy on her walks!
Megan was great! This was our dog’s first boarding experience so we were a little nervous for him, but Megan was very welcoming and immediately put us at ease. It was so nice to receive photo updates and know Dodger was enjoying his stay. I can tell he had a good time based off of how sleepy he is. Thank you Megan!
Megan's genuine love for all the dogs to whom she gives care shines through. We plan to have her help again in future.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have a 12 yr old pug whom I walk every 3-4 hours outside; I also can let dogs go outside in my double-decker patio. Anxious dogs can be in my lap or cuddle at my feet if needed, small dogs can go with my senior pug on the couch if they do not chew furniture or pillows. Your pooch must be social with other dogs. If a dog is aggressive with my senior pug or any other pet I take care of (or human), I will ask that he/she does not return as my pooch's safety (and all dogs and teenagers I care for) is of utmost importance.

Information Megan S. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to hear the intricacies of your pooch's personality and needs! As mentioned elsewhere, I cannot accept any dogs with aggression issues for the safety of my own senior dog, my son, and other dogs people’s pooches. I do accept multiple pets, usually have an extra pooch with me, max I care for at one time is 3-4. If your dog is high anxiety, please communicate their behavior and needs ahead of time to make sure I can accommodate, I will be upfront about what is a good fit and what isn't, I want us all to be happy and comfortable that it's the right fit. I am usually around all day except Tuesday evenings when I teach; my 16 yr old son can help walk dogs after school too.
A typical day
I'm working/ editing from home at my own pace, so I take many breaks. I love to give the pooches hugs and walks (not too many treats). For dogs with high exercise needs, I am a 10-min walk to a park dog run. I'll need to make sure your dog is properly socialized to be off-leash in a dog run. As I have a 16 year old musician kid who sometimes brings over 3 or 4 teenage friends for jam sessions in the basement, so dogs who are afraid of noise or teenagers might not be a good fit.

Availability
I mostly work from home except one evening when I teach a college course, so I’m quite flexible with my schedule and availability. I also have a 16 year-old son who can help with dog walking after school and weekends. Tuesday is the only day I currently teach so cannot take a high-need pet during that time or arrange drop-offs or pickups between 5-9pm Tuesdays.
