Pet care experience
There's been a dog in my family since the day I was born, so they are definitely my favourite type of pet. First there was Jake, who was a rescue dog, and a cross breed of a bit of all sorts! He was the dog I grew up with and have very fond memories of. And now there is Alfie, another rescue dog, and a beautiful Labrador. My family and Alfie live in Leicestershire, so I'm definitely missing some animal interaction whilst living in Brighton. I really miss having a dog to take on walks and as company round the house. I live close to fields but also not far from the beach, and often go on weekend walks at the weekend. It would be great to have company, and maybe give me the courage to explore a bit further knowing I'd have a companion with me! I am very confident with dogs so you can put your trust in me.

Danny, our black lab, really enjoyed his stay with Megan. She provided regular photos and updates to put our minds at ease. He didn't want to come home!! Highly recommend this wonderful host.

Megan was fab - really calm and friendly, good communication and great with Sassy. She adjusted quickly to her temporary home and came back to her permanent residence a happy pooch!

I have a fenced off garden but I will always be in the garden at the same time as the dog to ensure they're safe. I do have a living room, but I'm happy to have the dog in my room when sleeping just to make sure they're okay and comfortable.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours, how often they need to be walked, how much they eat and how often their toilet habbits.
A typical day
I live not far from some fields so I'd love to take the dog out for walks - long or short depending on what they're used to. You can't beat a game of fetch when out walking too. I get such joy from seeing a dog running about and enjoying themselves. When we're at home, I'm happy to play with any toys they have, or just sit an give them some affection if they're more relaxed.

I work Monday - Friday but have the option to work from home if needed, so I can dog sit/ board during the week as well as on weekends.
