Let me preface this by admitting that I’m conflicted about giving Megan the glowing review that she deserves because I selfishly don’t want everyone else to learn about how wonderful she is and snatch her up. I fall into the “neurotic” category of pet owners because I really do obsess over my fur children. I’ve always been hesitant to use Rover because I’ve just heard some negative things about some of the providers on here. Luckily, my experience was nothing but 100% positive, as Megan has really stolen our hearts! I’m a NYU Law student who has worked in various law firms so I have a strong conception of what qualifies as professionalism and excellent communication—Megan is indeed skilled in both of these areas. Throughout her time of looking after my Doberman and my cat, she sent me regular updates, followed my instructions exactly, and made sure to ask questions whenever she was unsure (as opposed to making any assumptions). She is reliable, responsive, and proactive. It is also very clear to me that this isn’t simply a job for Megan—she sincerely adores animals. She wants them to have fun and feel as comfortable as possible. I was able to rest easy knowing that my animals were in her care because she treated them as though they were her own. I think the real testament to my confidence in Megan is that I have already begun referring her to my friends and I plan to exclusively reach out to her whenever I need a sitter in the future. I only want the best for my kiddos, so that’s why we turn to Megan!

Because we’d had a good meet and greet with Megan earlier in the week, my dog jumped out of the car and ran to her door on drop-off day. Louie had a fabulous weekend with Megan, and I appreciated the photos and updates she sent. She was gracious when I asked to extend an extra night, too. Megan’s warmth and calm put this anxious pup and his mama at ease!
