Throughout my life I have loved and cared for many pets, of all different breeds and sizes. My best furry friend growing up was Mickey, a poodle, who lived up until the age of 18. In 2014, my family rescued an adult toy poodle, Lamby, who had been the victim of neglect. It has been our mission to rehabilitate her. I have training and experience working with future service dogs for wounded war veterans. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of an amazing organization that trains prison inmates to raises service dogs for wounded veterans, as well as explosive detection canines for law enforcement.
