Pet care experience
I was raised in NYS on 20 acres of land. I have had large dogs my whole life. I was brought up caring for our family dogs, horses, chickens and goats. I have experience caring for cats, rabbits, fish and reptiles. I also spent several years walking and showing foxhounds. I have experience caring for animals with special needs which includes administering medications, supervising during seizures and easing extreme anxiety.

Megan was amazing, flexible, extremely responsive, loving, and caring. I could relax knowing my dog, with a terminal illness who requires adaptation when it comes to caring for him, was in Megan's care whenever the need arose. Thank you, again, Megan for everything. Luc (and I) will miss you!
Megan took great care of my little Petra and ensured she stayed active and happy while I was gone, and eased her anxiety. She also accommodated when I wasn't able to pick up on time.

I have a 45lb shepherd mix named Lady. She’s 7 years old, and a total sweetheart. She has a very good temperament and gets along well with dogs and cats. We have a very laid back lifestyle here. I have a fully fenced in back yard on 0.25 acres. There is lots of room to run and play! We live in a quiet neighborhood where walks are easy and convenient. We leave a water bowl down all day and feed breakfast and dinner. Lady is up to date on all of her vaccinations and has had a recent wellness exam. Please let me know if you have any questions!

A typical day
My neighborhood is safe and quiet. It’s perfect for long walks. We live nearby several parks that are good for walking as well. We have a fully fenced in yard where we can play fetch, get some good sniffs in or just go out for a quick potty break. Otherwise, we like to relax inside and have lots of toys to chew on!

Availability
I work full time as a medical technician/LPN. Our home is very routine oriented. Our dog, Lady, goes out in the morning around 5am and is fed directly after. She has several opportunities throughout the day to go out as well. Whether I come home during my lunch break or my roommate is home. Play time and exercise is mostly around 5pm during the weekdays and dinner is around 6/7pm. Weekends are structured around meal times, but there are more opportunities throughout the day for exercise and play!
