Happy Pets, Happy Home, Happy You!

Pet care experience

Hello! I am committed to serving the people & pet(s) of those that need me! While no one can replace YOU as your pet’s stable & steady companion, I promise to treat every pet like they are part of my family. Other individuals may offer similar services, but the goal of my services is to provide the level of pet care I always wanted to others. My service is based on mature, reliable, intelligent compassion – not only for the pet(s) but for the pet owners as well. I specialize in care in your home pet sitting - especially overnight care. My overnight sitting service allows me to “move-in” to give your pet(s) the continual one-on-one attention they are used to while giving you the peace of mind that your home is cared for & looked after. As with humans, each pet(s) has its own needs, requirements, & personality. Most dogs & all cats are most comfortable in their home environment. It makes sense because the sights, smells, lights, & noises of another location are unfamiliar to them. Services can be customized to meet your unique needs, schedule, your pet’s needs, & unique preferences. I will work with you to decide what is best for your pet(s) & you as well. Megan was terrible and is the reason we are afraid to book any pet sitters. She went through our things (all of my clothes were out-of-place), threw out several of my race medals and bibs, called the cops and left a candle burning unattended in our house. We returned to a destroyed home and a terrified dog. He was crate trained but ever since her stay refuses to enter his crate at night. He has a neck injury which requires regular medication - we are fairly certain she did not give him his meds (I counted the pills). He was in severe pain and incredibly clingy when we returned. She did not return our calls, did not tell us about the cops (we saw this on our ring doorbell) and we continued to receive calls to our unused landline from people looking for her for several days after she left. If you care at all about your pets or your home, do not use Megan.

Megan was fantastic! She kept us updated on the dogs throughout her stay, and the dogs loved her! I would 100% recommend Megan for your pet watching needs!

Megan was great. She responded very promptly when I had questions. Our flight home was delayed and she offered to come back to the house. The cats were well cared for and the house was tidy.

Care/Compassion/True high-quality care you can expect from a trusted, experienced fellow pet owner that loves nothing more than making your loved pet feels loved/safe/& happy. I abide by always being transparent with my clients. You will know what schedule (if any) may take me out of the house before setting a booking. I always ask for the info that I need. I make sure I have care instructions, your contact information, & emergency contact information for every stay, and that it is kept confidential. I REQUIRE always to have a meet & greet before any first-time services are needed! I do this at my cost & my time. This allows us to set clear expectations/will enable me to maintain the respect of your home, go over any instructions pertaining to bedrooms, bathrooms, or other rooms, eating (of my food brought or food in the house) drinking (this I carry on my own!), and access information to the house/property, etc. It needs & must be noted in today's age that it must be disclosed to me (or any other provider) if cameras are present in your home. You’re not required to share the precise location(s), but note that cameras may not be placed in bedrooms or bathrooms designated for use by your pet care provider. I'm there to live out my passion for being with pets. There is nothing you want to see anyway :) I start communication early & often. I will provide excellent communication while you are away. I will send texts, voicemails, emails, pictures as requested. I can also offer Daily Notes of each visit to your home.

Information Megan P. would like to know about your pet

Each pet is unique! I have a sheet that I bring on our meet & greet that is always helpful in going over everything from health, food, toys, sleeping, pet poops, quirky behaviors, etc. It may seem very detailed or intimidating, but we only have to do it once & it is needed for the best care of care that I can provide. It is beneficial if the care plan & itinerary on Rover is filled out for each pet. I enjoy knowing all about your pets, from their daily schedule to those little things you do that make them happy – the unique tummy scratch or the extra treat they relish. It is my goal to give each furry family member the quality care they need. We will work together to create an individualized care plan that works best for you and your pet. Your pets are my priority. PLEASE have as much as the following information ready before our meet & greet - I also check to make sure it is not already typed in your care profile - which I read before the meet & greet. I reserve the right if after a meet & greet to cancel any booking if I do not feel comfortable with not knowing the following information. It only ever has to be done one time, though! It also helps from bothering you every 10 minutes and trying to figure it all out. Pets love routine & I'm happy to give it to them! Wherever your pet wants to go! I also provide lots of play Therapy. Scoop, hydrate, feed & walk is expected each visit. Play Therapy is my best way to deter separation anxiety. Many cats respond well to Play Therapy and enjoy a change of pace along with cuddling and brushing. It is comparable to a dog walk! Ball play and toy retrieval for pups are also part of my play therapy when enjoyed. Loving Birdcare, speaking the same words & phrases with them, is also enjoyed. We will work out an individualized care plan to do what works for everyone!
