We recently left our 8 month old golden retriever with Megan for a week. This was the first time we've left our dog with anyone and felt very confident with Megan watching him. Megan asked us to visit her home with our dog a couple of weeks beforehand to make sure our dog was able to get acclimated to her home and dogs. She walked us through how everything would work, requirements she had and what we needed to bring for that week. The day we brought our dog to Megan's house, he acted like he was at home, playing with her dogs. Throughout the week, Megan and I stayed in touch as to how our dog was doing. The snow melted and he became quite muddy, so Megan made sure he was as clean as could be for us. On the day we came home, our flight into Cedar Rapids was delayed and Megan was super patient and flexible with us as it became a very late evening. When we got to her house, she had everything ready to go. I highly recommend Megan for anyone wanting a thoughtful, caring and honest dog sitter!! We will definitely use her again!
