Pet care experience
Welcome to Cooper’s Castle - your best bud’s home away from home. We’re a WFH couple who love to spoil and love on dogs all day long. Cooper, our black lab-beagle mix, runs the place and has a heart as big as his fetch game. Bring your fur fam over to join the fun! The humans of the household, Megan and Navin, both work from home so taking care of pups fits right into our daily routine. We incorporate supervised backyard playtime and walks in between meetings and balance doggie duties with each other. Pups are never alone. In the rare case, we have to step out of the house, we make sure all pups are either crated) per your wishes) or in their respective “quiet” areas. Before we confirm a booking, we do require a meet-n-greet to make sure all pups play along. We’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes who have big hearts, tons of tail wags and lots of love to give for most of our lives. When friends or family are out of town, we walk, feed or have the pup hang out with us just like another member of the family.

Information Megan & Navin S. would like to know about your pet
We like to know about the temperament of pups beforehand. How do they get along with other dogs in the same other house/out and about? What is their level/style of play?Is the dog food-protective or aggressive? Is the dog ok with other animals in the house? Is the dog trained (sit, stay, come, etc)? Are there any special medications, dietary restrictions or behaviors we have to consider? The more we know about your pup, the more we can make sure he always feels at home with us!
A typical day
The day usually starts off with a long walk around the neighborhood including a wooded trail that is full of awesome smells and sights to behold. After our morning walk, we come back to backyard playtime and breakfast. No worries, the backyard is completely fenced in! Once we wrap with the morning festivities, the humans usually get to work while the pups take a lovely nap in the family room, complete with toys, blankets and beds galore. Once noon or 1pm hit, it’s time for another walk (albeit a wee bit shorter) around the block and even more backyard playtime. Games of fetch frequently occur. As the evening approaches, we wind down with some more quiet time and relaxing inside. If it’s super nice out, we will get an evening walk in (this usually happens spring-fall). Dinner time equals food for both humans and pups alike. We will take 1-2 more potty breaks before we go to sleep for the evening. It’s a jam packed day full of walks, games, treats and smells for pups!
