I grew up on a small farm in southern Indiana. Animals have always been a normal part of my life. We have had everything from hamsters to goats. I work every weekend as an elderly caregiver. I have helped raise many litters of puppies. A few had some disabilities that required around the clock care. Such as medications and cast care. I dog walked as my first job in high school. I currently have two hamsters and a chihuahua named Paisley. She has the same attitude as the hamsters...only coming out when she hears food bags rattling. She’s good around other dogs though. Unless it’s my friends overly hyper puppy who manages to trample her every time he’s over. There is a field/dog area behind my apartment that we let them walk and play in.
