Hello there! My name is Megan and I am a passionate and caring veterinary assistant that works in a specialty veterinary clinic. I have worked in a veterinary clinic for the past 10 years and have grown up around animals my whole life! I currently have two dogs, a black lab named Houston and a sheepdog/poodle mix named Finn. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Go Dawgs!). While I was at UGA, I raised a Guide Dog for the Blind from the age of 3 months till he was over a year. During that time I taught him basic commands and exposure. I can teach the same basic commands to your pets if needed using treats and verbal praise. I am capable of administering oral and injectable medications and can handle puppies to elderly pets.

This was our first time using Rover.com and it didn’t disappoint. Megan did an awesome job and took wonderful care of our 2 (high energy) Boxers. She was extremely responsive to every message and went above and beyond by proactively sending us pictures and videos of our pups (and cat). This was our first time leaving our pets and Megan’s responsiveness and kindness helped alleviate any concerns we may have had. The house was in perfect condition when we got back. I highly recommend Megan and will be scheduling her services again in the near future. Thank you for everything, Megan!

Megan was awesome. My big dog had some health issues and Megan went above and beyond to take care of her. I felt so relieved to be leaving her with someone who knew how to take care of her. I received pictures and updates every day and felt very safe with Megan in my home. I had been really nervous about hiring someone I didn't know and Megan put me completely at ease. I would use her again and highly recommend her!
