Pet care experience
Animal welfare truly is my passion - from being a young kid with family pets to my own furry family made up of fosters and pets today. I also volunteer at an animal shelter that's allowed me to learn and become confident with a range of medical needs including SubQ fluids, pills, and injections (like painkillers, diabetic insulin, and otherwise). I also have a range of lizards and snakes, so super comfortable caring for those too!

I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and competent pet sitter. Megan went above and beyond to make sure my cats had some human socialization in addition to her regular feeding and cleanup chores. I will invite her back in a heartbeat the next time I travel!
This was this first time I have ever used the Rover app and I cannot express how happy I did because we found Megan! She helped explain her w to navigate the app and make the booking process easy. But that’s nothing compared to how PHENOMENAL she was with our cats! It was our first big trip being a week away from the cats and she made us feel so at ease knowing the cats were in such great hands! She came over before our trip to do a meet and greet with the cats. We even learned some great tips for cat grooming from her! But the best part was receiving tons of pictures, and a very thorough report on the cats daily. She even groomed our cats which they usually hate! It was so great knowing the cats were in such good hands! Being a military family with no close by family members to help, it’s hard to find people you can trust. But now that we’ve found Megan, we are set! Megan is PHENOMENAL with cats and I cannot recommend her enough!!
We went away for 3 weeks for the holidays and we were a bit concerned how that was going to affect our kitty, but hands down to Megan!!!! She was great!!!! She was always on time for the drop in visits, she took care of her food and litter box and spend some time with her for some kitty love, she took care of our kitty like she was her own! Our kitty warmed up to her almost from the get go! Litty is very shy, but Megan must be some kind of cat whisperer 😉. I will definitely work with Megan in a next opportunity!
Megan was amazing with my 2 cats! Very sweet to them. Came for a meet & greet and had treats all ready. Even convinced my shy one to come out. The report cards were very informative and she kept me appraised the whole time. Also offered to go above & beyond. Would definitely recommend & 100% book again!

A typical day
I have a couple young pups of my own so I like to take them for walks around my house, and on the easier hikes on long trails nearby. When we're at the house, we play a lot of fetch in the garden.

I work remotely, with a very flexible schedule - so I'm able to figure out a cadence that works best for you, or can even stay at your home playing with your pets. I'm available for morning, afternoon, evening and weekend visits/care.
