Pet care experience
I have 2 large labs of my own and they are total love bugs. I am very personable with all pets and make sure that they are as comfortable as possible and enjoy their stay with us while their owners are away. I am a vet tech and and working in large and small veterinary medicine for years now so I have had a lot of hands on taking care of all creatures big and small. I have always had a dog in my life whether it is a personal pet or a dog at the jobs I have worked at. I am very comfortable around 4 legged animals.

Megan is amazing! She sent us pictures of our dogs throughout her stay, updated us on what was going on, took Luna on a walk, cuddled with her on the couch.. she was just awesome with them! She is super trustworthy, reliable, and my very shy pup ended up loving her by the end of the night! We are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone who needs a dog-sitter!
Megan is the absolute best pet mom there is! Her fur babies are her world. She is hardworking, patient, loving and a responsible pet owner. This paired with her animal work experience, I have no doubt in my mind she would be a great asset to Rover! I know I have always been able to rely on her when I need help with my pets!
Megan is amazing with all animals, but especially dogs. She has worked with horses professionally and in her personal life has three pups. She has high standards for how she takes care of her own dogs, and it translates into how she cares for others' pets. She makes sure they're getting walks, she shows up on time and with consistency. She is the winning combo of kind, caring, attentive, and structured.
Megan is absolutely wonderful with our furry kiddos. She treats them like her own and is always looking out for their best interests; making sure they're well taken care of and happy. I walk my dogs twice a day as much as possible, plus let them run around our backyard to stretch their legs. I do not have a fence but I have leads for dogs to stay on so they can run around. I am always supervising my own fur creatures unless they are sleeping. My pups are allowed to sleep upstairs with us but can also be crated in our house if need be and they are more comfortable with that.

I will make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible. I like to be informed of any needs that the dog has whether its environmental, or physical. If they stay at my house id like to do meet and greets to unsure that they will get along well with my dogs. I want owners to be comfortable and know that their pet is set up for as much success as possible while they are away. I try hard to have pets feel as if they are on vacation as well!
A typical day
I will take the dogs on hikes and walks on trails that are near me, I will even take them swimming if the Owners are ok with it. Depending on the weather and comfort of the owner will determine where I can take the dogs.
