Pet care experience
Animals have been in my life for as long as I can remember! From my cat, to my grandparents dog, the neighbors dogs (and fish!), relative’s pets, and even a lost desert tortoise, I have grown up taking care of and learning how to be around animals. I am comfortable around many different types of animals and always make sure to keep my pets safe and healthy. I have always been the go-to person to check in on friends and family’s pets, and have even filled the role of groomer!

Megan was wonderful with my Bernese! He takes some patience at first because he thinks he’s just a small dog and gets too excited when greeting new people :) She did a great job calming him down and they became fast friends!
Megan is so sweet and did great with our cat Butter. She sent us lots of photos and videos and was communicative and easy to work with. Would 100% hire again!
Megan was really great with my cat Mew! Super responsive and was very flexible with changes in visits. Also appreciated the amount of photos she sent with every drop-in visit. Highly recommend!

Because I’ve been around pets my whole life, I know how important it is to respect them and make sure they feel safe. When greeting pets, I always let them sniff me first and ask the owner if it’s ok before petting them. On walks, I make sure to keep my pets leashed and pick routes that I know the pet will enjoy and feel comfortable with. While watching pets, I ensure the pet feels safe with me by being friendly, playing with the pet, and making sure to follow the routine their owner has for them.

I am currently a student in my third year of undergrad, so have plenty of time on week days and especially weekends to drop in for pet sitting and take pets on walks.
