I am a Texas A&M and University of the Incarnate Word graduate with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree, with 3 years of experience in boarding facilities. I have experience in various feeding protocols as well as methods of medicating, from administering a pill to giving an insulin injection. I have worked with and shadowed veterinarians, giving me the knowledge necessary to distinguish between a pet needing first aid and a pet needing emergency medical attention. In addition to dog and cats, I have cared for livestock, birds and wildlife (including emu, ostriches, deer, tortoises, an oryx, an African serval and a mini pig).
