Hi there! I'm Megan. I'm thirty years old. I grew up on a farm in the country, and have been caring for animals my whole life. Ever since I was a young child, they were some of my best friends. I'm experienced with everything from elderly teacup yorkies to puppy German Shepherds. I'm skilled in giving medication orally. I can follow strict feeding schedules and needs. Since I know it's hard to be away from your animals, and know how important they are to you, I'm happy to send photos daily, if you'd like. If your dogs prefer to stay close, I'm fine with everything from cuddles to letting your dog sleep with me. If they're more of a lone wolf, I'm happy to keep an eye from afar. I currently don't work a traditional 9-5 job - my job is taking care of your pets! So you don't have to worry about how much time I'll be able to provide - the pets will get it all! (In the event of a rare occasion that would require me leaving the home, I would discuss it with you ahead of time.) I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, etc as needed. (I'm also open to discussing any other requests you may have.) If you have animals that aren't dogs - I'm happy to take care of them as well! Just indicate in your message the specifics, and we can work details out from there. Also, during the summer, there are times that I will have the adorable boy in the photo with me - he's 10 years old and cats are his most favorite thing ever, but dogs are a super close second. He's dog sat in a clients home with me on 2 separate occasions, both lasting 10+ days. However, I understand not all animals love children as much as he loves them, so please let me know if there is any concern. He is only with me certain weeks, so it may not even be an issue.
