Fur babies are the best babies!
Pet care experience
I am young and energetic, so I can be great company for your fur babies. Walks can be used to burn energy, for bathroom breaks, and some rudimentary leash training. I had a senior dog as a teenager and helped my parents train their puppy through obedience school- she is now 7. I adopted my very own fur baby in March of 2020 and she has gone from a dog with extreme separation anxiety to no longer needing a crate in the last 4 months. She is a friend to all! Every time I do a drop in visit I will spend as much time as possible for socializing. I have experience with special diets and administering oral medications. Seeing your pets will always bring me joy - dogs truly are the purest creatures! It will be a true pleasure to pet sit! Since I cannot board in my home, I will make every accommodation to spend as much time with your pet when possible. It's important to note that I am the sole human in my dog's life, so she will need to come with me. Meet and greets will be crucial! I will also make sure your home is ready to welcome you when you return - my personal motto is “leave the world cleaner than you found it.”

Megan was on time and stayed overnight with Trixie. She is super sweet and a great communicator. Megan has her own dog named Lila and Lila is very sweet, however if you have a dog who is territorial or food protective, this may be an issue because Lila is curious and playful and food protective also. In spite of that one issue, Megan handled the couple of issues they had beautifully by separating them and taking Lila out, so Trixie could eat. When I came home both dogs were outside and doing fine.
Megan did a great job and took good care of our fur babies. Both our dogs approve! We will be requesting her services again. Highly recommend! Thank you, Megan!
Megan is my daughter (full disclosure). When she lived in my home, she was the favorite human of 2 different dogs over the years. She walks, plays, bathes, and generally takes excellent care of the pets we've had. She'd make a great dog sitter - she just loves dogs! I love when she comes for a visit, and so does our sweet girl, Chloe! I absolutely recommend her.

I always want to use commands that your dog is used to, so if you use commands that are specific (i.e. do you say down or off if your dog jumps/is on furniture?), please share that with me. It would also be helpful to know if your dog(s) are comfortable socializing with other dogs.
A typical day
There are great paved walkways throughout Marion County as well as dog parks when time permits, and I always try to walk at least 2 miles depending on the dog’s needs and ability. I love to play fetch, tug-of-war, and run around. I am good at monitoring at the dog park to ensure your dog’s safety.
