Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover and have experience dog sitting and dog walking. I currently volunteer to dog walk with a local shelter multiple days a week. I sadly don't own a pet of my own at the moment, but would love to help out walking, hanging out with and taking care of pups in the area! I can handle dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds. :)

It is very helpful to know how your dog interacts with other dogs, kids, people, etc - since the streets of Philly are typically hustling and bustling with all of the above! It is also helpful to know how you award good behavior for your pup, as well as dealing with bad behavior. Allergies and health conditions are also very important to be aware of, as well as anything else specific to keep an eye out for with your pup. Also you dog's routine and schedule, as well as any treats, toys, etc they love to make sure they have a great time!
A typical day
I love walking around all parts of the city, typically to Rittenhouse Square and down to the Schuylkill River Park to enjoy both of the green spaces in these areas. If your dog likes dog parks, the dog park down at the River Park is a favorite spot of mine! I love taking longer walks around the city if your pup needs a lot of exercise as well.

Availability
I have a very flexible work-from-home schedule that allows me to take breaks whenever needed during the week, allowing for open weekday availability for walks or check-ins. I typically have open availability on the weekends for sitting or walks as well!
