I light up at the sight of a dog and am always on the lookout for the opportunity to pet, care, and play with one. Growing up, I had a small half-Chihuahua, half-Pekingese dog named Muffin who filled my life with much joy and love. Caring for Muffin has been my primary experience caring for dogs. I fed her, took her outside for her to do her business, played with her, and even taught her a few basic commands (i.e. sit, shake, lie down, and roll over). At the dog-friendly athletic club I worked as a receptionist at, I made sure the water bowl outside the entrance was full. Also, we kept treats at the front desk to give out when dogs and their owners passed by. I always took pleasure in getting a break from the front desk to interact with dogs and their owners.
