Having had two high-energy dogs of my own I understand the necessity for and behavioral benefits of sufficient daily exercise. When my dogs were younger I’d take them running. During their senior years we walked slowly to appreciate the surroundings.

Megan was so great with our active doggo! She played with her outside in the snow and took her on runs. I got lots of update pictures. Megan is just super chill and made me feel very comfortable leaving Lacey with her for over a week.
Megan was very helpful for a quick last-minute sitter. I would highly recommend Megan for all her updates and care!
Megan was great while watching our 1yr old lab puppy for the week. She was kind, responsive, and took great care of Walter. We loved getting detailed updates including photos/videos and maps of their walk/run routes throughout the day. Thank you Megan!

My goal is to make your pet as comfy as possible. I find dogs are less stressed if I match their routine and habits. I have cared for dogs with myriad behavioral quirks and special needs (delicate physical condition, aggression, medication administration, etc.) I understand the importance of patience in getting to know a pet and their specific needs. If you are working on specific training goals I am happy to be consistent with your methods to help with the journey :)

Information Megan L. would like to know about your pet
You can never provide too much information about your dog’s personality, behavioral quirks, physical needs, etc. It is important that I know about any physical limitations/health concerns in advance of our first visit. It would also help to know the command words you use with your dog also so I can speak their language! I am not afraid to care for a dog with aggressive tendencies, but knowing about them in advance will help me to be ready to work with your dog to avoid any sticky situations, and be consistent with your training regimen to help correct them.
A typical day
i know how important exercise is for physical and behavioral health, so that’s something I really put a focus on. Outside time, whether on walks/runs or chasing around in the yard is central to my routine with pets. I also love engaging with them with inside playtime- fetch, tug, or just chasing eachother around!

My schedule is very flexible! I have a hybrid work setup - my office is at home but I leave for max 5 hours sporadically throughout the day for appointments.
