Pet care experience
I. Love. Animals! I have had a pet for almost all of my 47 years of life! My life is so much more full when animals are in it! Currently, my husband and I live alone, never having children, and recently-ish having lost our two furry babies. Bronx, our 10 1/2 yr old Beagle mix, passed Feb 2018, and Frank, our 9 yr old, 165 lb Bullmastiff, passed May 2014. I miss them Every. Single. Day. My heart has a gigantic hole that only animals can fill. I have a degree from The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I’m an x ray tech, and ultrasound tech—specializing in cardiac ultrasound. I am taking a break from healthcare. To be honest, I like animals more than people! ;) Please, let me love your furry kid!

Megan was amazing with our dogs! She took great care of them and had great communication while we were away. Will be looking to use her whenever we need someone to watch our boys!
As a mom of furbabies, I can't imagine leaving my babies with anyone but Megan! She loves the pups as much as she loves life!! Megan has been a true gem, she took such care for the dogs and my 92 year old mother. She made sure everyone ate, walked and just flat out worn out. Once you meet Megan, you will feel she is part of your family. Trustworthy, honest and the best person to take care of your loved ones, 4 legged and 2 legged!!
I think the best thing about Megan is that she "speaks" dog. She will know just what your dog needs by the tone of their whimper. Megan will not only take care of your dog, she will give them the "Royal Grandma" treatment, with plenty of belly scratches, play time and walks - a true companion. When others hear bow wow, she hears "I'd like a bone." Ruff, ruff to the normal human ear, is a "thanks for playing with me" to Megan. Bark, bark. "I've lost tennis ball #19." She knows how to help the sick ones, play with the bigs ones, and you will know you're in good hands as soon as you meet her. Because let's be honest, the best part about this, is that you will know Megan. And Megan is the best!
No one will love your dog more than Megan! I have know Megan for over 15 years and she has always been an animal lover. She even transported our new black lab puppy on a 4 hour drive to my husband and me! She is so kind and gentle to her own animals, and everyone else’s. She loves them as her own. To Megan a dog isn’t just a pet, it’s a member of the family. You would be lucky to have Megan care for your dog!

There are lots of trails near my place in Gainesville for fun discovery walks! We could go to a number of different dog parks, if that’s what your dog likes. We can go to lakes for swimming, we could stay home and snuggle all day, we could do some training, we could do absolutely anything your animal enjoys!
