Pet care experience
Former Behavior Care Technician
I began working with animals in 2019 as a Behavior Care provider at a local animal shelter. This has helped me fine-tune my work to approach each animal on a case by case basis as each animal has specific needs and wants based on their personalities . I have experience in behavior care, medication administration, exercise and have Karen Pryor clicker training and certification in positive reinforcement. I lead with empathy and genuine love for all animals. My previous pet sitting experience has spanned over the past six years. Most of my previous experience has been with dogs and cats, however I am open to care for all types of animals as I am life long learner and lover of all things animal related! I have quite a diversified background in clinical oncology research patient care, advocacy, and navigation, and most importantly spending a lot of intentional time with our four legged friends! I work remotely and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule 🐾

Megan has a huge heart for animals and would be an excellent caregiver to your fur babies. She’s gained experience throughout many years of pet sitting and throughout her time working at Animal Friends. Megan has two cats of her own who are her world! She will care for your pets like they’re her own if given the opportunity!
Hi there, when I worked at Animal Friends with Megan she had shown time and time again her outstanding care, compassion and empathy when dealing with any critter from big Great Danes to tiny fractious cats. Her patience and talent handling and creating a stress free environment where animals can take a breath and relax. She is always very thorough and pays attention to every detail of ensuring Fluffy will have any needs met whether it’s medication or keeping to strict allergy friendly diets. To keep it well put, Megan is a wonderful worker with a kind and gentle heart who adores all animals she comes across. Her communication is timely and professional while bringing her personable genuine self.
