Pet care experience
I've had a pet to take care of for as long as I can remember. Animals, dogs especially, have played a significant role in who I am today. They teach you how to be responsible, how to have love/compassion for others and most of all how to have fun even when you're having a bad day. September of 2017, I lost my best friend Tucker of 9 years to cancer and that’s what pushed me to start doing Rover. I never felt as if I were doing enough for him day to day and Rover has helped me fill that gap, but now I want to fill that gap for everyone else before it’s too late. As of October 2019 I dog sit full time, also offering short and long term boarding and I honestly couldn't be happier with my life! That being said, please know I am open to assisting with any pet needs you or your family may come across during this increasingly chaotic life.
Reviews
Megan is the best! She is dependable and our dog loves her. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!
Megan was wonderful. Took amazing care of our dogs and sent great communications so we knew they were being well cared for. Our older dogs prefers being at home and having Megan come over was so helpful and kept her anxiety down.
Megan does a wonderful job of taking excellent care of my little angel Gizmo. Gizmo adores her and gets excited every time he sees her.
Megan is great with dogs and soooo easy to work with! She is flexible, responsible, and trustworthy. On top of that, I have difficult dogs who are very picky about who they like and they LOVE her. She has helped us out so much and I will definitely continue to work with Megan in the future!

When booking with me, expect that your dog is experiencing nearly the same life as they would at home with you. Just maybe a few extra friends to hang on the couch with. The more information I receive about them, the better!

Information Megan L. would like to know about your pet
•I’m extremely flexible with scheduling, just ask! •Please be sure to have vaccinations up to date, no one wants an extra visit to the vet, or worse. •What does your pet love/dislike, so that I can provide them with the best care possible. The more information, the better! -ex. Hates peanut butter, LOVES peanut butter flavored treats or no rawhides, but can still have other types of bones. •I do not offer discounts to first responders or front-line workers, but whenever you have those days that are supposed to only be 8-10 hours and you end up staying beyond the pick-up time- just send me a quick message, life happens. ***All prices subject to change.
A typical day
First off, my large fenced in yard provides endless entertainment - toys, plenty of both sun and shade, along with friends next door to chat with and of course a few squirrels to tease everyone. As soon as it starts to get warm there are 2-3 baby pools to enjoy and we will also play with the sprinkler/hose to beat the heat on the really hot days. There’s almost never a day that fetch isn’t played, the best time is when the snow is all piled up in the backyard! For more relaxing activities, I can’t turn down getting all the cuddles on the couch (or anywhere for that matter), but most of all I like to make my home as close to ‘home away from home’ for your pet to ease any fears of being in a new place.
