Pet care experience
My dog is my best friend. Since I was a child I have always preferred to go play in the creek with my dog instead of hanging out with the neighborhood kids. Dogs surely are mans best friends. I wont leave my dog with just anyone. Aggressive training techniques are worse than no training at all. I'd like to provide an environment that I would want my own dog to spend time in. I believe in positive reinforcement training and Lots of praise. Along with Lots of love, playing and enrichment. (Or quiet time if needed.) My German shepherd was feral when I got her as a 5mo. Old pup. She taught me a lot about dog body language. She is trained like a circus dog now and loves play dates!

Almost empathic when it comes to listening to dog body language and mood, can usually stop a fight or incident before it starts, and is extremely affectionate and caring. I've seen her calm the meanest of dogs in less than 5 minutes. She is well versed in training and behavior modification and showed me techniques to keep my high-energy dog from both chewing on my running shoes and popping holes in the air-cushions, and scratching at the leather furniture out of boredom. If you're looking for someone who not only keeps your dog for the day, but keeps them engaged, happy, and matches their energy, food, and affection needs, Megan is the person you want taking care of your dogs. She is honestly just a dog person and will literally talk your ear off ALL day about dogs and everything they do. 100% recommendation.

Any breed is ok. It's how you train the dog. Shy, unconfident, or unsocialized pets are ok. I have years of experience recognising & understanding dog behavior. I do have my own fur baby here so they must be socialized with other dogs. Please let me know if your dog is possessive over toys or food. It's not a real deal breaker, I just need to have a heads up. Also my dog will be at my house so if your pup is dog aggressive off leash I wont won't be able to accommodate. I have experience at 2 bet clinics and a wildlife rescue. If your pet needs meds or a special diet, no problem!
A typical day
While in my care your dog will enjoy walks on the dog trail that winds through the property here, playing off leash in a fenced double gated dog park with an obstacle course in it, couch and bed cuddles and of course playing with my pup Suki. *** I also have experience with exotics, reptiles, fish and small mammals. Id be glad to watch your non-furry companions too!***
