Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own dog for as long as I can remember. As a child and pre-teen, I had a very elderly dog, who was blind and deaf. I helped him to get around and stay as happy and healthy as possible for as long as possible. I have taken care of my current dog since he was two months old and he is now nearly 8. I have also dog sat for various people, keeping their dog(s) company, active and happy while their humans were away. I am basically like a puppy myself, energetic and fun loving. My baby is with my parents in NY so any dog that I spend time with, I will be treating like mine.

Megan was such a delight! My kitty is living with my parents currently, and we needed a sitter for him while they were traveling over the holidays. She came by for an introduction before they left, and was so kind and made my mom feel very comfortable leaving him. Megan came by each day for a week to care of the kitty, and communicated each visit with me and my mom so we knew he was doing well. We plan to have her sit again in the future!. We felt so lucky to have found her:)
Megan took amazing care of our cat! We got lots of updates and pictures. She was very friendly and attentive to our cats needs. We'll definitely be reaching out again when we need a cat sitter.

I do live in an apartment, so I do not have a yard, but there is a large property where I live. There are sections to take a dog if they just need to relieve themselves, but there are also many places to go for longer walks. I do not live with anyone or have a dog in my apartment, but my next door neighbor has a dog who loves other dogs and would always be up for playdates. And a pup is welcome anywhere, especially next to me in bed or on the couch.

Availability
I am a full-time law student at UNC. I have class every days, but I get out by 4pm every day, sometimes earlier. While I usually stay at the library, I can leave early anytime I have a dog to care for. I am out of class at 2:30 pm on Fridays and don't have any obligations until 7:45 Monday so I am available for boarding during that time. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday I do leave at 7:45 am.
