I have a love of animals that has become apart of me as I grew up on a farm. My favourite activity is to take the dogs to the park and play fetch. Responsible, dedicated, caring and a true animal lover. I spent 13 years riding and caring for horses, including routine and specialty care for injured or sick horses. I have spent many years at horse camps, which have allowed me to swim with horses and compete in shows. I still have a huge passion for horses however I am in the city perusing a university degree in psychology. I have plenty of experience dog sitting for up to two weeks st a time, which included feeding, walking, grooming, playing, some training, and cuddling. My degree in psychology has allowed me to understand the ins and outs of classical conditioning, therefore making training less difficult for me to hone in on as a skill. I'm currently working part time and finishing my psychology degree. I prefer mornings, afternoons and early evenings I always make sure to go over the pets routine and over any specific care requirements and the best way to interact with them. I have navigated with scared, and aggressive dogs and gained their comfort and trust. I have level 1&2 pet first aid by the Ottawa Humane Society.
