Pet care experience
I have always had a huge passion for animals. I'm usually the girl at the party who spends just as much time making friends with the animals as I do with the people. If you're a friend of mine, chances are I've offered to watch your dog long before you made plans to go out of town. I'm super flexible and can accommodate many different needs and requests. Friends and family have always trusted me to care for their pets. They know they will be taken great care of, loved, and come home worn out and happy. I have three dogs that were all rescued and are all extremely dog friendly. Having a career as a teacher leaves me with a lot of free time (especially during the summers and holidays!) to spend on hiking trails, dog parks, and dog-friendly establishments throughout Austin. Be assured that your dog will return to you happy, tired, and anticipating your next vacation just as much as you are. Extra Info: Trail/park 0.25 miles from my house- visited daily Photo updates as often as you'd like Dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time Grooming available upon request ***Photos are ALWAYS sent during your dog's stay with me. The Rover generated phone numbers have not been reliable so I send them to your actual phone number instead of the one Rover generates for you when you contact me. Megan did a wonderful job caring for my dogs and cats on a recent overnight stay while I traveled for business. We met beforehand and talked through the details and were in contact throughout the stay. I felt very comfortable with her and my dogs both LOVED her. I look forward to having her stay again soon.
As a first time user of this site, you can't help but be nervous at the thought of leaving your pups in the care of a stranger. Megan however, was amazing and quickly put any fears we may have had to rest. She was very friendly and our dogs quickly took to her almost immediately. While on our weekend trip, she updated us with pictures and even offered her flexibility in watching the dogs longer should we decide at the last minute to stay longer. We're definitely happy to have found Megan and will be both using her in the future, and recommending her to our friends! Thanks Megan!
Megan was WONDERFUL :) She sent me regular updates and pictures which helped so much! She was so sweet to George too, she even let him sleep in her bed. You can definitely tell she is a dog person, your pup will be well taken care of with her! I was very well pleased and will definitey be using her next time I go out of town!
Megan was an absolute joy to use while my GF and I went on vacation. She is extremely comfortable with all dogs and knows all the questions to ask to help alleviate any of the pre-vacation anxiety when leaving your pet. Her setup around her house and the proximity she has to parks and open areas really made me feel like our pup was on just as much of a vacation as we were. Megan sent pictures and even videos of her performing tricks throughout the trip. I really can't say enough about how comfortable and happy I was with her care, and I will certainly look to use Megan again! Thank you, Megan!
