Pet care experience
I have a ferocious love for animals of all kinds - dogs especially. I have been pet-sitting for as long as I can remember. Nobody likes to be away from their pets, but when it's necessary, it's comforting to know they're in good hands. I have worked in animal shelters and with families, giving me a broad range of experience in animal care. I also have a dog of my own - a two year old mixed breed rescue from a shelter. Having a dog of my own, I understand how important it is to ensure your pet has the best care possible while you're away. My dog is like a child to me and I will treat your pets with the same level of love. I am responsible, punctual, dependable, considerate, and am able to form very strong connections with animals in a very short amount of time. Working with you to understand all of your pets needs and preferences, I can ensure your pet will be properly cared for so that you have nothing to worry about while you are away!

Megan is a wonderful caregiver to any animal. The love she extends to dogs and cats is surpassed by very few. Watching how she interacts with my Sandy, who is a generally timid and territorial dog, and seeing that Sandy was more than comfortable with her, was such a relief to me. She cares for her animals, and the animals of others, as if they're her own children. I would highly recommend Megan for any dog sitting needs you may have. Her professionalism and understanding of her responsibility towards caring for your animals will not go un noticed! 10/10 highly recommended!

I have experience with dogs of all different shapes and sizes - though I would like to know typical basic background info before taking a job. Breed, age, medical conditions, temperament - the more information you can provide for me, the better. That way, I can ensure the best possible care for your pet.
A typical day
I know of wonderful parks all over the Denver area and am more than happy to take the dog out and about as much or as little as you'd like! If your pup isn't particularly social, we can always stay at home and play or visit less-crowded parks - I know of several more secluded trails for pups that might not be good around strangers or other dogs. Some dogs just aren't the active type, and that's quite alright too! I'm more than happy just to keep your dog company in your absence, if that's what they need. As long as you clearly communicate your dog's needs, I can be sure they are all met!
