Hi, I'm Megan! Animals are my absolute passion! I have had dogs (among other animals) whole life, I have been a dog owner for past 10 years and a pet sitter for 5. I have mostly owned small/medium dogs, but I LOVE giant ones too!! I'm also great with puppies as well as the older ladies and gentledogs. Pups of all kinds seem to gravitate towards to me and feel safe with me fairly quickly. I love getting to know a dog and what makes him/her love the world. As a family function or friend's house, YOU will find me hanging out with the dogs of the house rather than with you ;) I am available as a walker, and a sitter in your own home and I will care for your pup, home, property and anything else like it is my own. I am a housewife/mom, so I will have PLENTY of time and flexibility to care for your pets. I would also love to teach your fur-baby some sign language signals to incorporate into their training. I am also available to take care of your other pets. I have extensive experience of taking care of cats, hamster, rabbits, birds and other small pets as well. As a pet-owner myself, I know how hard it is to find someone you trust to take care of your fur-family. I want to be able to provide the care that you will NEVER have to worry about for your pet. Because you and your pets deserves it. My love and passion for animals has made me wanting to do more… hence this is WHY I am offering this Rover app for you to be able to entrusting me to take care of YOUR babies like they are my own!

Megan was great! We needed a dog-sitter somewhat at the last minute for a trip out of town for the weekend, and Megan was able to accommodate. We could tell she genuinely cared about Rocky's well-being and wanted to know about how best to take care of him. She kept in touch over the weekend and sent pics also! He had a great time. While I don't have any breed preferences or age preferences, I would love to know as much as you can tell me about your dog. Especially your dog's little quirks, personality traits, and preferences. Are your dogs up to date on all vaccinations? Are your pets housetrained or crate trained? Do your dogs get along well with other dogs? Also, it is necessary to know any special needs your pets may have, like allergies, etc. I want to be able to very accommodating and with your help, will provide the best care possible for your babies during my care for them. I offer a complimentary meet and greet before your booking as well.
A typical day
I love being outside with dogs and love playing with them the way they want to play. If appropriate for your dog, I'll take your pup to dog-friendly parks, and even on hikes or swimming at the creek! I also just love to go on walks around neighborhoods or on a local trail. Mixing it up is fun for me, and if it's fun for your dog, too, then we'll totally do it. Your dogs will get a lot of exercises, but of course, my walks is dependent on the your dogs' age, level of energy and stamina. I also just love to play in the backyard and even inside with your pup. I will never leave your dog unattended outside, even in your own (or mine) yard.
