Your Furry Godmother
Pet care experience
Hello, thanks for visiting my page! I am currently working in the animal welfare industry and have for the last 4 years. I have a long list of professional certifications, training, and hands on experience working and caring for a wide range of animals of all ages. I have grown up with animals my entire life and have taken care of cats, dogs, ferrets, cows, horses, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, birds, and more. I would be delighted to meet, spend time, and care for your pet and be their furry Godmother! Once I watch your pet, they will always be part of our pack!
Reviews
Meg truly is the furry godmother! She sends daily pictures and updates of my fur babies when I am traveling. Whenever I need someone to care for our animals, Meg is the one I call. Our pets love Meg; she handles our spunky dogs and elderly cats with patience and ease. It's easy to see Meg loves animals deeply and is passionate about their needs. Working in animal welfare, she knows how to handle all sorts of animals and builds positive interactions and relationships with them. Because Meg grew up on a farm, she also has experience with many other animals: horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, rats, and ferrets. If you want the best caregiver for your furry friends, give the furry godmother a call! I highly recommend her...you won’t regret it!
Megan has always loved animals with a passion. From growing up on a small farm taking care of several horses, to being promoted to a fully trained, qualified, and renowned animal control officer at her large department. Megan’s love for animals has made her strive for animal handling and care her top priority. Megan has raised retired sledding dogs in Alaska, taken many animals that are neglected, poorly raised, abandoned, or that have malnutrition and made space for them of her own before she finds only the best permanent care takers and life long new owners for that animal. She has not only dedicated her life to making sure every single animal is at her highest level of attention, I guarantee that you will not find anyone better to take care of YOUR furry life long friends. Megan has you and your animals taken care of from the start so that there is no stress after you leave your home for work or vacation. Your furry pet pals will be glad you hired Megan for the job!
Meg is a animal person - she cares deeply about all the animals I’ve ever seen her interact with. She is loving, friendly, welcoming and dependable. I can tell that she loves having animails around and enjoys caring for them. Meg is definitely someone I would recommend to watch your pets!

I have a large 6 foot and 8 foot wooden privacy fence in the yard. I have 2 doggie doors. I am able to stay at your place or stop by to walk your dog, stop by for a visit or potty break. Currently my pack consists of a fun and energetic shelter Husky and an Irish Wolfhound who is working to become a therapy dog. Both love playing with other pups and are good with cats as I also have 2 older cats that get along with other animals. I am able to crate your dog too, if needed.
Information Megan H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has behavior issues, food sensitivity / on a raw diet, things that make them nervous or scared, medications, or any other important information that will help me know your pet dog better ahead of time, would be great!
A typical day
I have access to endless hiking trails, swimming in the lake, walks in the woods, walks around town, playing fetch in the yard, meeting friends at the dog park, ski trails in the winter, car rides, doggie playdates, and sometimes we enjoy going to local shops or breweries for a drink, all the things mountain dogs love to do!
