Generally disappointed in the care Daisy received with Megan. I had high hopes after reading her reviews and after our meet and greet, I expected everything to go smoothly. We left the state and hired Megan to house sit and stay overnight with Daisy but each day she texted saying she wasn’t going to be able to stay overnight and didn’t give a reason why. So each night states away I couldn’t get any sleep and stressed over my dog. Daisy eats at 8am and 8pm and the first day Megan didn’t make it to our home until after 11am. My dog has never been left in her kennel so long before. I don’t kennel my dog when I leave the house, only when we are sleeping at home with her. Daisy was left alone in her kennel up to 15 hours more than once. Megan had to clean her kennel one of the days which only escalated my stress imaging how long daisy was left with whatever dirty was made in there. She didn’t shake off any dog hair before putting dog items into our brand new machines so they are in need of cleaning. Megan did sent updates with pictures of Daisy on five minute walks two of the days she cared for her. She visited daisy in the morning and evening to feed and walk her but was very busy because her family shares one car so during the day she was gone long hours for appointments, errands, and driving her husband to and from work. During our meet and greet my family showed Megan and her son to the guest room they would be staying in but she didn’t use this time to tell me she wouldn’t be able to stay the night with daisy or that she would be too busy during the day to stay with her. She informed us that she was very pregnant with twins and was ordered to rest by her doctor so would be around a lot. So we were sure this was going to work out. One evening we were away she called me in a panic because while she was laying down with her son, my homes alarm suddenly went off and she needed the code to shut it off. My home alarm has never sounded off before and it wasn’t set for the time we were out of town. I would have had the neighbor come feed daisy if I needed someone to just stop in but that’s now how I treat my dog. Daisy has never been overnight alone and she’s never been locked in a cage for so long. I wish Megan would have been honest about being unable to do overnights and honest about how extremely busy her schedule is because we are a work from home family and would never have left our dog if we knew how much time she was going to spend in a cage. Overall, not worth the huge amounts of sadness and stress I experienced being so far away and unable to help my dog. I don’t understand how someone could accept a job of overnight house sitting and then only spend a few hours a day at the home and stay zero nights.

Great boarding service, really flexible, sweet and loving! Our dog had a great time and everybody in her family loved having our dog over! Very good experience
