Work from home pet sitter!
Pet care experience
I’ve loved dogs since the day I was born and with my own dog I know how important it is to find the right pet sitter! I’ve been in the mountains for three years, my dog and I both enjoy an active and social lifestyle! Working from home I was commonly getting asked to watch friends dogs so I decided to make myself officially available on rover. Aside from my love for dogs, my active lifestyle, and the ease of watching dogs working from home, I was previously a certified veterinary technician and a boarding manager so I have 3 years of professional experience caring for small animals :) As I have long since changed careers, I am no longer certified but my comfort level in caring for dogs is moderate to high.
Reviews
Megan was very attentive to all my doggos special asks & took awesome care of her for a day of snowboarding. She provided a worry free day on the mountain for me and an active day for my dog. We got home and Lucy spared no time in eating dinner and going straight to bed. Would definitely recommend & would ask her to watch my dog again.
Megan was A+, communication was on point all the time and we were able to arrange meet ups accordingly. We were on a tight schedule and she made easier for us to drop and pick up Rylee. Her dog Stella such a sweet girl! We will definitely re-book with her if we are around again!
Megan has been such a reliable and caring sitter for my Hank. He gets to go on adventures and long walks throughout the day leaving him super happy and exhausted. Megan has shown her professional pet experience in caring for Hank which is a big stress relief for me. I highly recommend Megan’s services!
If there is one person in the world I would choose to take care of my pup, it is Megan! Megan has a natural ability to make pets feel comfortable and loved. She also has specialized knowledge and experience in pet nutrition and training that helped my young puppy better cope and feel safe while I have had to go abroad for work. Megan kept in contact regularly which was really reassuring and allowed me to let go of worries for my pup who came from a rather traumatic first few months of her life. She was excellent with feeding and exercise routine, and her sweet dog Stella also served as extra support for my pup. Megan is a reliable, responsible, extremely friendly woman with the experience and ability to take the best care of pets of various demeanors. I never have to worry when my pup is with Megan!

I have my own dog in the home who loves to play with other dogs so usually the dogs I pet sit are plenty entertained. I have a bark box subscription so when I am pet sitting my home is usually joyfully littered with dog toys! I also find creative ways to give treats and keep doggos busy like frozen PB filled kongs, lick mats, frozen eggs (if okay), and tricks for treats. Dogs are not allowed on the couch in my home, but I have plenty of dog beds and they are allowed on the bed. Dogs must be potty and house trained to be in my home as I rent this property. Puppies or dogs that require hourly attention are probably not the best fit for me as I do work during the day and can be in back to back meetings for a couple of hours. But I am open to discussing any special needs to see if I am able to accomodate!

For my schedule, I am great fit for anyone who needs doggy day care and weekday overnight sitting. I also have most weekends available. On weekdays over lunch I typically get out for 15-30m walks over lunch, occasionally a 1 hour cross country ski, or get the dogs out while I shovel. Weekdays after work, I usually get out for 30-60m walk before I head out to workout. On the weekends I usually get out for at least one two hour or more hike or cross country ski. My dog and any dog I’m pet sitting are usually exhausted for the rest of the day!
