Pet care experience
Hi there! If you're looking for a place where you know your dog will be loved and well taken care of, you've found the place. My partner and I absolutely love dogs, work from home full time, and are excited to help take care of your fur baby while you are away! Have a question about our place, our dog Frida, or who we are? Let me know! I will happily email, give you call or set up a time to meet. My Place We live in a pet friendly two bedroom apartment in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood with our three year old dog, Frida. The apartment is spacious and definitely dog friendly! Dogs are welcome on furniture but have plenty of room for a dog bed or crate if your pup prefers that! With two dog parks within a mile and plenty of nearby grassy areas, there are lots of different places to explore for walks and be outside. Amenities I will provide walks and outside time throughout the day, some toys and stuffed animals, keep on any feeding schedules, and of course plenty of play time, love and belly rubs! If needed, I will work with any specific feeding or oral medication schedules. And, if you are okay with it, I am happy to spoil with dog treats! About Me I am a non-profit communications professional who works from home full time. My partner, Robin, also works from home full time for a renewable energy organization. When we are not working, we love cooking, exploring new places, reading and being with friends and family — especially canine ones!
Reviews
I am so thrilled to have found Megan and Peter through this app! They were so wonderful and caring - my pup had a great time with them! I got several updates with pictures which really made his first time away not stressful. They were perfect and can't wait to use thier services again!
Loving, responsible, wonderful caretakers of our energetic dog. Highly recommend.
Megan was phenomenal! Both of my dogs loved her and she sent regular updates. It was so wonderful to know my dogs were having a fabulous time without me. Thank you for everything, Megan!
Megan and Peter were wonderful hosts for our pup. They took her on long walks, gave her treats and toys, and made sure to shower her with attention while we were away. We also loved that they sent so many pictures of Penny to update us and let us know that she was having fun.

Information Megan G. would like to know about your pet
Before we watch your dog for the first time, we ask that you and your pup come over and meet us and our dog, Frida. This not only lets you see the space and ask any questions you have, but it allows our pups to meet and get comfortable with one another, helps your dog become familiar with our home, and eases separation anxiety.
A typical day
If your pup is up for it, there are plenty of fun places to go exploring! My pup, Frida, and I go to the dog park every morning and we'd love to have your dog come along! We also frequently explore various outdoor areas in the Chinatown, Dupont, and Mall areas and during long walks. As your dog is comfortable with it, we also love to go enjoy dog-friendly DC patios and rooftops and hang out with fellow dogs and dog lovers! If your dog is more low-energy, that's great too! There is plenty of room on the couch for cuddling, Netflix binging, and hanging out to watch the world go by in our floor-to-ceiling windows.
