Pet care experience
I have a deep love for all animals. Growing up on a farm with a mother who was a veterinarian, I was always surrounded by a multitude of animals, especially dogs and cats. I currently am a mom to a miniature Australian Shepard puppy, Penny, and an 11-year-old tuxedo cat, Moo. I am a student at Gonzaga and finishing my master's in school counseling program. I am available for short-term boarding depending on how your dog does with cats and other dogs. Though I would prefer to stay in your home to keep my cat happy. But, for the right dog sleepovers at my place are an option. If you require any house sitting, I would need to bring my puppy. She is doing great with potty training and so far does well with the other dogs and cats she has met. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I can't wait to meet your fur child! **If you would like me to take your dog on a hike or day out please book doggy daycare. I do not board animals during the weekdays.

Megan was excellent. She came over for a meet and greet before hand, and went above and beyond for my little dude. I'd definitely ask her to watch my cat again!
Megan was perfect for checking in on our German Shepherd! She contacted me a few days prior to check in to see what she needed to do and took time out of her day, on Thanksgiving, to take care of our girl. Megan texted me a couple questions, but sadly I didnt have my phone on me at the time, but she figured it out and then sent me a cute photo of our dog while we were away as an added bonus ;) 10/10 would have Megan watch our dog again!

We have never had to turn our beloved pet over to a complete stranger to care for. Circumstances brought us to this decision on a very short notice and we were blessed to find someone who treated our dog as if it were her own. Communications were phenomenal—we received texts, pictures and updates on a regular basis. It was comforting and made our trip that much more enjoyable knowing our dog was in the best hands possible. We will definitely be using Megan again and highly recommend anyone who loves their pet to use her as well!

I am a bit of a helicopter pet mom and will treat your baby as my own. Providing your fur baby with love, attention, and care is my most important goal for my time with your pet. Using a leash is a must for me. It is important for me to know if your pet is microchipped or vaccinated, andd if there are any issues they may have when walking in your neighborhood or in regard to people or animals. I do ask that your animals are fully vaccinated so I do not spread any disease to other animals.

Let me know if your dog gets nervous or aggressive for any reason and what can help with any issues they may have. I do have a cat so I prefer not to host in my home. Is your pet up to date on vaccinations? Is your pet spayed or neutered? Is your pet microchipped?
A typical day
We can go on walks, and if you would like hikes or runs! We could always visit the dog park as well and throw the ball around. I will abide by the routine you have established and meet your pet where they are.

Availability
This summer I will be out of town for a few weeks but am free most weekdays. I do work some weekends and would be gone for 6 hours. I usually only work 2-3 days a week. If I do work my hours would be gone would be: Thursday: 2:00pm-8:00pm Friday:2:00pm-8:00pm Saturday: 1:00pm-7:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm-7:00pm
