Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong dog lover, and most of my siblings work in the pet care industry! I've raised dogs with my family since I was a baby, big and small. I started dog sitting part time while in college (because I often stayed behind on campus while most people left for break), and I fell in love with caring for other people's babies while they were away. I know leaving your pup behind for a while can be daunting, so I approach each session with empathy, care, and attention to detail. I want to make sure you know your baby is in safe hands!

Megan was great and the dogs loved her. On time but flexible if we needed to adjust time.
Let me just preface this by saying Megan is an angel. Megan has been pet sitting for my doggies, Luna, Cheech, and Baby while I’m on business trips for about 3 year now. Megan is a kind and gentle soul. My dogs have an extreme fondness for her, for every time she enters my home, they wag their lil’ booties so much they nearly trip! I trust her to be in my home for weeks at a time, and I trust my doggies to be in her home for weeks at a time as well. My dogs, who are usually shy, warmed up to Megan the second they met her. I believe Megan has a special connection with animals, as they are drawn to her. Megan will forever be my go-to for taking care of my doggos! I’d also like to highlight this: My dog, Luna, used to suffer from extreme separation anxiety. With Megan’s care, Luna is what I consider to be “healed.” I don’t know what she did but I fully credit Megan for Luna’s success.
Given my reputation as an over-thinker, I am inherently cautious about leaving my dogs with anyone, but I can wholeheartedly say that Megan is the only person I would trust to take care of my little men. She has been a great second mom to my babies and has earned my trust time and time again. She is responsible, understanding, compassionate, and patient. Her passion for the well-being of animals shines through in everything she does, from making sure they are securely fastened on walks to keeping me routinely updated on their well-being (and I need a lot of reassurance!) As a former dog groomer, I am very knowledgeable and particular about dog care and handling, but Megan never ceases to amaze me. I have absolute confidence and peace of mind when Megan is taking care of my Bun and my Nana. She is truly a breath of fresh air.

Availability
I work in-person in the mornings from 9:00am - 12:00pm, and work remotely for the rest of the afternoon, making me available for walks, cuddles, and afternoon feedings! I usually take pets for morning bathroom breaks, serve them breakfast, and administer any necessary medications before I leave for work (around 8am) before coming back to spend the rest of the day with them.
