Pet care experience
I started out taking care of neighborhood dogs and wound up volunteering to clean cages at the local animal hospital when I was 12. That developed into a job where I assisted with routine care, surgeries, cleaning and was the primary point of contact for boarding/bathing services. I took a veterinary assistant course my senior year in high school and interned at 2 different veterinary practices. I am a certified National Registry EMT, spent 30 years as an Air Force military medic and have CPR certification. I have owned animals of every kind… from parrots to reptiles, horses, chickens, amphibians, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ferrets, cats, dogs and hamsters! I am a true animal lover and have experience with almost every kind of dog you can think of! Getting ready to retire from a 20 year career in law enforcement and looking for part time work with animals.

Megan is a very dedicated and professional person when it comes to caring for dogs. She has watched as well as walked our 4 dogs on numerous occasions and can be trusted and relied upon to give your dogs the utmost attention and love.
I’ve known Megan for 11 years and the amount of love and care she has for animals is worthy of admiration . Of all types and no matter the size . I’ve never met someone that never had fear to pet and or help a dog. Dogs react so well to her positive energy and gentle touch . These things come natural to animal lovers. Their is no question in my mind that she would be a perfect fit as a dog caregiver . Not only does she deliver good spirits to dogs , the amount of trust that is given and received so positively in such a short period of time between her and dogs is very beautiful to see . She is also very knowledgeable on dog behavior . She can see things before they happen and will go out of her way to change the course of any environment to create a much safer outcome for any pet . Megan has great communication skills and is also a very reliable person. I really hope you get to see with your own very eyes the beautiful / admirable relationship she has with dogs . 🙂
Megan F, or Aunt Meg as my dog Glen and I like to call her goes above and beyond any and all expectations one may have for an animal caretaker. Megan, whom I have known and worked with for a long time now as an animal lover is the ONLY person that comes to mind as a dog sitter when I am planning a vacation. It is because of her that I can plan with ease. I know that I do not have to worry about my dog being walked, fed, entertained, or loved. My dog, Glen is an Explosive Detection Canine, which requires a lot more care for feeding, entertaining, and walking than the average dog. His feeding schedule; what he eats and how he eats it is very strict and I know that I do not have to worry about someone doing the wrong thing with Glen when I am away. Megan knows the temperaments of dogs even better than I do, and there is not very many people I can say that about. Megan, I know for sure will rise way about the call of duty when it comes to looking after dogs. Megan is professional, courteous, respectful, and the most conscientious when it comes to your dogs specific needs. I highly recommend Megan F.

I am recently retired and I am looking for part-time work to keep me busy! My husband and I are both huge animal lovers and understand the stress of finding someone trustworthy to take care of your babies when you’re away.
