Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with pets throughout life and they’ve become a huge part of who I am! I have 6+ years of experience pet sitting cats and dogs. I know how important it is to ensure your pet is well taken care of when gone, and I more than capable of ensuring your pet has exactly that with care, attention to detail, compassion, and honesty! I strive to always have an open line of communication so you can regularly check on your pet, ask questions, or anything else, as I know how difficult and even a bit nerve racking it can be away from your furry best friend. As a pet owner myself, I know how important feeling confident in the care someone provides for your pet while gone. I am capable of providing services to do so and can’t wait to pet sit, check-in, or walk your pet!

Megan is one of the most caring animal-lovers I know! She is always so sweet and gentle with my reactive dog which goes such a long way, especially because he is so high-need! I truly wouldn’t trust anybody else to care/watch him when I’m out of town. She’s very knowledgeable and her experience with animals shows!! Megan is one of the most caring people I’ve ever met, not only does she care for people, but she cares and loves animals the most. She would do any and everything for the animals she comes into contact with. She has watched my animals countless times and I never have a second thought about if they’re in good hands. I no longer have a dog (pictured in profile pic) because she passed away with age, but when I did have her, she was fed twice a day at two specific times and her water was always full. There was no need to take her out on a leash, as she was trained and had a collar that allowed her to roam in the yard whenever she wanted to go out. However, I do have experience with taking dogs out on leashes or if trained, ensuring they stay in the yard or designated areas while out. Sending frequent texts and pictures is something I’ve always asked while away from my pet and I am more than happy to do this for you. Knowing your pets allergies, triggers if a reactive pet, and other important information is critical for the best care and safety for your pet.

A typical day
If you have a yard, we can go into the yard and get some energy out while playing, or we can go on a walk to get some exercise. If there are specific toy that are allowed, I can incorporate that into play time in the yard or while on walks.

Availability
I currently work full-time Monday-Thursday. I am available for dog walking Monday-Thursday, and pet sitting depending upon days/time needed. If you do not see a day listed in my availability, please feel free to reach out and ask, as my schedule changes frequently and I would be glad to help! I will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
