Pet care experience
I started caring for animals when I was 15, but my home became a zoo in my 20's. I've personally homed a variety of animals, but I have the most experience helping friends and family over the years with their dogs. I've walked and cared for breeds ranging from as small as Shih-Tzu and Chihuahua up to German Shepards, Huskies, as well as St. Bernards and Great Danes. I've helped with structured walking, feeding, medicating and play time. My own furry best friends right now are Karma, a Greyhound, and Bodhi, a Greyhound mix. I also foster for a Greyhound rescue group, so I frequently work on teaching new skillsets to hounds not familiar with home nuances and structured walking as well as play time.

We LOVED having Megan come watch our pup! She was always letting us know what was going on. Even sent us photos! My dog is highly anxious and took her a bit to warm up but by time she was done they were besties! We are so thankful for her and can’t wait to see her again soon!!
Megan has an aptitude in caring for dogs, as well as many other animals. Looking after their needs while providing them with attention, and affection. She has many years of experience in attending to other peoples pets and is very trustworthy. We have used her services in the past and will be doing so in the near future as well.
Megan is AMAZING! She has been helping me care for my dogs for years. Unfortunately due to one of my dog’s aggressive behaviors towards other animals I cannot board them. She is so great with him and knows how to handle him on walks and around other people, and on top of that she was also caring for my other two dogs! My dogs LOVE her and I know I never have to worry when they are in her care!
Megan is absolutely wonderful with my 3 German shepherds. She is caring and loving towards them. I never have to worry about my puppies when I leave them with her. She is my go to for medical concerns and some behavioral questions about them.She is very knowledgeable about my dogs and in general about most aninals She is very trust worthy. I highly recommend her. Your pets will be in great hands with Megan.

A typical day
I try optimize time with the dogs to ensure they’re both physically and mentally worn for the day. Between enrichment toys and plenty of outside time, a tired dog is a happy dog.

I'm currently working in downtown Sycamore, so I have the most open opportunities to help in the mornings before 6:30AM and evenings after 3:30PM during the week days, but have flexibility throughout the day during the weekends.
